SATURDAY IS COMMUNITY DAY!

Club showcasing community work at Saturday's fixture

20 September 2017

Saturday's game against Bradford City has been declared the club's Community Day and there are a host of activities taking place outside the stadium.

Northampton Town's very own bouncy castle will be here for children to enjoy some pre-match fun, while the Wacky Faces face painting crew will be here at the foot of the steps on the approach to the stadium. For those youngsters enjoying the Mick George Family Area, there will also be the option to have your face painted there too!

The club's inflatable goal will also be in action in the Mick George Family Area so young supporters can show off their football skills, while if football darts is more your thing, or even if you have never seen it before, head behind the Sheinman Opticians Stand to take a look!

Explore Learning will be here with some fun and games and some great giveaways for young supporters, while we will also have our 5-a-side pitch open behind the Sheinman Opticians Stand.

Don't forget to also keep an eye out for the University of Northampton clapper sticks!

We will also have some young Bradford City supporters joining us, and members of Junior Bantams will form a Guard of Honour as the visiting team arrive on Saturday.

Moving pitchside before the game, we will be making a couple of presentations, one is to the Northampton Town Girls under 13 team who won the treble last season, the league, League Cup and County Cup, while the Northampton Town Ladies Disability squad also won their league and they too will be presented with the trophy pre-match.

There will be a number of half time pitch demonstrations for you to enjoy. The Northampton Town Downs syndrome squad will be in action on the pitch, as will the club's Walking Football squad. The Northampton Town Ladies will also undergo a demonstration training session.
