Northampton Town's youth team welcomed Dagenham & Redbridge to Moulton College on Saturday in their latest EFL Youth Alliance fixture.
The Cobblers won the game 4-1 with two goals apiece for Lewis Irwin and Morgan Roberts.
The result lifts Jon Brady’s side above the Daggers and up to second in the table.
“It was a great all round team performance,” said the Cobblers under 18s coach.
“We were on the front foot from the start and it was a good performance.
“It wasn’t about individuals, it was a real collective effort.”
