Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is placing the emphasis on his own side's performance ahead of Saturday's home game against AFC Wimbledon.
The Cobblers boss admits he is pleased that another home game is coming along so soon after last weekend's loss to Bristol Rovers.
“I want to play in front of our fans and we need to try and give them something that they can be proud of,” he said.
“It’s going to be another challenge on Saturday, there are no weak teams in this division.
“We have to make sure that our organisation is right but with all due respect to Wimbledon, this week has to be about us.
“Wimbledon play good football but we have to look at ourselves.
“I’m happy with the group I’ve got, I’m proud of them and I'm standing behind them and there are no excuses.
“My way is going to take a little bit of time and getting the confidence back is going to take a little bit of time but in the meanwhile we need to try and win some games.”
