CHAIRMAN SUPPORTS MULTI-DISABILITY SQUADS

Cobblers squads in BOBI League action on Sunday

22 October 2017

Northampton Town Chairman Kelvin Thomas went along to support the Cobblers Multi-Disability squads in their BOBI League action on Sunday.

The BOBI League provides regular footballing opportunities for children and adults who have physical and learning difficulties.

The Cobblers Chairman was there to support the Cobblers squad in their second tournament of the season, and he expressed his pride at the way the players involved represented the club.

"It’s been a positive weekend for the club," he said.

"I spent Sunday watching the Multi-Disabled squads in action at in the BOBI League and they represented the club superbly and with great pride. I always enjoy spending time with these squads and love watching them play. It’s also great to see the coaches, volunteers and supporters who all give up their time to support the players. We are very proud of them all.

"The youth team won Saturday to go second in the EFL Youth Alliance South East table, the Northampton Town Ladies won on Sunday, and Jimmy and the lads got their three points at Gillingham on Saturday. So, all in all, it was a decent weekend.”

The Cobblers Multi-Disability squads will next be in action on November 12th, for more details about the club's extensive Multi-Disability work supporters should please email russell.lewis@ntfc.co.uk
