Northampton Town's youth team welcomed Peterborough United to Moulton College in the EFL Youth Alliance on Saturday.
The Cobblers took the lead through Lewis Irwin but Peterborough came back to win the game 2-1.
The under 18s are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Swindon Town in the second round of the FA Youth Cup.
