JIMMY FLOYD HASSELBAINK DISAPPOINTED BY PLYMOUTH LOSS

The Cobblers boss reflects on Tuesday night's trip to Home Park

Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was disappointed with the performance of his team as he reflected on Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat at Plymouth Argyle.

“We weren’t at the races,” he said.

“Plymouth were much quicker to the ball and sharper than us and that is concerning.

“We were very loose in the first half especially, we have been very good at defending set pieces in my time here but with both goals tonight we should have done better.

“For spells in the second half we did okay but we are not taking our chances.

“At times we made it very easy for Plymouth but you have to give them credit as well.”
