The Cobblers will be without Matt Grimes (suspended) and Regan Poole (international duty) for Tuesday night’s Emirates FA Cup first round replay at Scunthorpe United.
Grimes is set to serve a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the campaign at Oxford on Saturday while Poole is currently away with the Wales under 21s.
Daniel Powell is a doubt after coming off in Saturday’s game at Oxford but John-Joe O’Toole is set to feature at Glanford Park.
“John-Joe will be available but I don’t know about Daniel,” said boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
“John-Joe was always going to come off on Saturday, I took a bit of a risk playing him but I felt we needed his presence in the middle of the park and he came through fine."
