Northampton Town will welcome Championship side Derby County to Sixfields for a pre-season friendly.
Gary Rowett will bring his Rams side to Sixfields on Tuesday July 25th, with a 7.45pm kick off.
It promises to be a busy summer for both clubs. Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh has already spoken of his determination to strengthen his squad, with Daniel Powell already having put pen to paper.
Meanwhile Rams boss Rowett is also expecting his team to have a new look by the time the game comes around.
“I would expect the team to have a different feel about it come the beginning of next season and a different look too,” Rowett said speaking on his club's official website.
“I’ve said from the start, I certainly expect the team to have a stronger, more physical edge and presence to it – in terms of athleticism and power - and then, of course, we want to maintain that quality in the right areas."
Derby finished 9th in the Championship last season, missing out on a play off spot by three places.
