Northampton Town's under 18s were beaten 2-0 at Oxford United on Saturday in their latest EFL Youth Alliance Merit Division game.
“Lapses in concentration at key times cost us,” said Professional Development Phase Coach Mark Lyons.
“I was disappointed with our performance in the first half, we gave away a lot of possession and Oxford had the better chances.
“The second half was more encouraging, we created a lot more chances and should have taken something from the game.”
