JUSTIN EDINBURGH LOOKING TO BUILD ON IMPROVED AWAY PERFORMANCES

30 March 2017

The Cobblers boss previews Rochdale v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh is looking to build on recent away performances as he previews Saturday’s trip to Rochdale.

“We want to build momentum going into the summer and finish the season well,” he said.

“In terms of points what we have might be enough but for me it’s not about that. We want to finish the season strongly and put as many points on the board as we can.

"The fans have backed us and we owe it to them. We will not be easing off, even if we achieve mathematical safety.

“Nothing has changed and our training, preparation and mindset is exactly the same as when I walked through the door.

“Rochdale are a free scoring side and I’m sure they will still have an eye on the play-offs.

“Their home form is good and it will be another tough game but I’ve seen some real improvement in our away performances. We know Rochdale will pose a threat but we will go there confident.”
