The Cobblers boss looks back on Northampton Town 0 Oxford United 0
Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh is sure his side are heading in the right direction as he reflected on Saturday’s goalless draw against Oxford United.
“It was a really fierce, competitive game,” he said.
“Neither defence gave an inch and it wouldn’t quite fall for us.
“It certainly wasn’t for the lack of trying and the players have given me everything again today.
“Defences came out on top today but I said to the players afterwards that this is a game we might have lost a couple of months ago.
“We are a lot more resolute now and I believe we are making good progress.
“We are heading in the right direction and we want to finish the season strongly.”
