We are very proud of the achievements of a young Cobblers supporter called Alfie Brown.

Climbing Mount Snowdon in Wales has been a dream of Alfie's for a couple of years and he challenged his Nan to do it with him, so on the weekend of May 27th they drove to Snowdonia and on Sunday 28th May they set off on the Llanberis Path.

His Nan Karen Aitken took up the story. "Climbing Snowdon was not something I ever imagined doing and to achieve it with my Grandson was a privilege," she said.

"Alfie was a fantastic walking partner encouraging me when it got a little tough and upon reaching the summit stone he took out his Cobblers flag. The achievement has boosted his confidence and self-esteem hugely."

Northampton Town Chairman Kelvin Thomas said, "We are all very proud of Alfie, and his Nan, and it was great to see him holding his Cobblers flag proudly at the top of Mount Snowdon.

"Alfie is a Junior Cobbler and we are delighted to have him supporting the club. We send our warmest congratulations to Alfie and his Nan on their achievement."
