Supporters urged to arrive early at Sixfields this weekend

Supporters attending Saturday's match against Scunthorpe United are asked to allow extra time when travelling to the game.

A large crowd is expected at Sixfields, while Northampton Saints play at home on Saturday with a 1pm kick off, which mean supporters from Franklin's Gardens will be leaving their game at around 2.45pm, adding traffic to the roads.

Given the current roadworks on the Weedon Road will mean more supporters than usual using Edgar Mobbs Way, traffic is likely to very busy shortly before kick off at Sixfields.

The Saints traffic management plan will be in operation, but supporters using the disabled car park behind the South Stand will still be able to gain access.

However, the club would strongly recommend that supporters arrive early, particularly before the Northampton Saints game finishes.

A reminder that resident DJ Mat Apollo will be in the Fans Village from 1.30pm, while the Mick George family area will also be open entertaining young supporters.
