JUSTIN EDINBURGH PRAISES GAME MANAGEMENT IN WIN OVER COVENTRY CITY

28 January 2017

The Cobblers boss reflects on Northampton Town 3 Coventry City 0

Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh was a happy man as he reflected on his first home game in charge, a 3-0 win against Coventry City.

“It’s a fantastic win and we will enjoy the weekend but we want a few more of these,” he said.

“Our game management today was very good in difficult circumstances, you are expected to beat ten men but it’s not always easy.

“I thought we deserved the win, we looked solid and when we had the ball we switched the play well.

“Luke Williams was effective and we had good width in our play.

“Keshi Anderson was a fox in the box and I’m really pleased for him.

“I saw some good signs today, Marc and Keshi are developing a good partnership and understanding but as a team we know we can still improve.”
