Donation made at the Coventry City game
Members of the Royal British Legion were at the Coventry City game to receive a cheque for the poppy appeal from the club.
You may recall that back in November, for the game at Gillingham, the players wore shirts containing the remembrance poppy.
These shirts were later signed and auctioned off via the club’s official ebay site to raise money for the poppy appeal.
The proceeds from this appeal, more than £2,300, were donated to the British Legion via a big cheque presentation at the Coventry game.
