Harry Beautyman scored for Northampton Town as a Cobblers reserve side were beaten 2-1 in a behind closed doors friendly at Stevenage on Tuesday afternoon.
A Cobblers side gave match practice to David Cornell, Rod McDonald, Raheem Hanley, Jack McCourt, Emmanuel Sonupe, Gregg Wylde, Alfie Potter and Beautyman and performed well in a worthwhile exercise before they made a number of changes as the second half progressed.
