BUY YOUR TICKETS HEREZander Diamond has been passed fit for Saturday’s home game against Chesterfield after recovering from a blow to his calf muscle at Walsall.
Fellow central defender Gabriel Zakuani (hamstring) remains a doubt.
“Zander will be fine for the weekend,” confirmed boss Justin Edinburgh.
“He didn’t train at the start of the week but he was back in training on Thursday.
“Gaby is progressing really well and he has a chance but Saturday might come a bit too soon for him and we have got to be mindful that when we get players back from injury we keep them back.
“Brendan Moloney is coming on well and Alex Revell should be back training in a week or so. Sam Hoskins is back in the building and it’s good to have him around the group.
“Joe Iaciofano has gone to Corby on work experience, I think he’d outgrown the youth team here and when anyone gets comfortable they need a fresh challenge. He needs first team football and it will be great experience for him.”
