THE TWELFTH PLAYER CHILD CASTING NOTICE

6 February 2017

We are looking for some young stars!

Royal & Derngate are looking for two local children to be part of a ground-breaking 45 minute film that will form the foundation of a site-specific live event in Sixfields Stadium.

Utilising an inspired concept that blends site-specific performance and handheld video technology, this unusual project will take audiences on an exciting journey through Northampton Town Football Club’s Sixfields Stadium. Immersed in a multi-sensory experience, viewers will see the passionate world of football through the eyes of three generations of a family of Cobblers supporters, moving seamlessly between observing characters and finding themselves in the middle of the action.

We are looking for one boy and one girl to form part of the NTFC-following family who are at the centre of story. Some time off school will be needed for rehearsing and filming. The work is voluntary.

DATES:
w/c 18th April -  Tuesday 18 April all day, plus another half day that week (1-5pm)
w/c 24th April – three half days (1-5pm)
w/c 2nd May – two whole days
w/c 8th May – two whole days
We are able to schedule the above when they are most suitable for the two performers to take time off school.
