Proud back of shirt partners extend support for the club
Northampton Town Football Club are delighted to announce that Opus Energy will remain the club's proud back of shirt sponsors until the end of the 2017/18 season.
Opus Energy, who are based on Summerhouse Road in Northampton, are one of the UK’s biggest business energy suppliers. The agreement is a signal of the company’s continued support for the local community, and as one of the biggest employers in the local area, Opus Energy is still cheering on the team alongside their 650 local employees.
The Opus Energy branding will be seen across the back of the team shirts (and throughout the stadium), championing the Cobblers’ over the course of the rest of this season and next.
Andy Nash, Director of Operations at Opus Energy, commented: “Giving back to the local community is hugely important to us, and with our continued support of the Cobblers, we hope that we can give something back to our employees.
"Over the last two years, we’ve added 150 new roles to the business here in Northampton, bringing more NTFC fans into the company. Our employees enjoy the great opportunities that our partnership with the Cobblers brings, such as meeting the players and access to tickets.
