The Cobblers boss reflects on Northampton Town 2 Swindon Town 1
Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh praised the character of his team as he looked back on Tuesday night’s 2-1 home win against Swindon.
“The players maintained the intensity that I want them to play at for longer periods tonight,” he said.
“We came out of the traps really well, for 30 minutes in the first half we were relentless and we created lots of chances.
“We were better for longer periods tonight and we really got about Swindon.
“We made life a bit difficult for ourselves in the second half but the group showed real character after we conceded.
“It was good to see a positive reaction and you need to have that mentality.”
