JUSTIN EDINBURGH - 'ANOTHER BIG THREE POINTS AT STAKE ON TUESDAY NIGHT'

Cobblers boss previews Tuesday's visit from Swindon Town

Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh says he is looking to build on the previous two home performances in Tuesday night’s home game against Swindon Town.

“It’s another big game, you always want to entertain but throughout the season results are the most important thing and that’s what we have to focus on,” he said.

“I watched Swindon against Oxford recently, they are a footballing side and they won’t change the style that they play.

“We have got to go and impose ourselves on Swindon and we need to build on the home form that we’ve started.

“Every game is tough and I will never underestimate anyone regardless of their league position.

“Back to back home wins on the back of five consecutive defeats at home is very pleasing and the players have been very receptive to what we are trying to do. The players have been excellent since I’ve been here and I couldn’t have asked for any more.

“I’m enjoying it here, everybody has been really welcoming and the supporters have been excellent in the four games I’ve been in charge. They have been very vocal and that has certainly filtered into the players. The crowd have definitely played a huge part in the two home wins.

“We want to make Sixfields a fortress, we’ve started that but there are another three big points at stake on Tuesday night.”
