NORTHAMPTON TOWN SIGN GOALKEEPER MATT INGRAM

QPR keeper arrives on a season long loan

31 August 2017

Northampton Town have signed Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Matt Ingram on a season long loan deal.

The 6ft 3in 23 year old Ingram, who played against the Cobblers in the recent Carabao Cup tie at Loftus Road, began his career at Wycombe Wanderers and made 140 appearances for the Chairboys. His impressive form led to him being linked to a number of clubs in the Premier League and Championship before he moved to Loftus Road in January 2016 for an undisclosed fee.

He made his Rangers debut by keeping a clean sheet away at Cardiff City in April 2016, and has so far made ten appearances for QPR, playing in both of their Carabao Cup ties this season.
