Justin Edinburgh reacts to Millwall 3 Northampton Town 0
Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh was unhappy with the performance of his side as he reflected on Friday’s 3-0 defeat at Millwall.
“We didn’t compete hard enough and that disappoints me to say,” he said.
“Far too many personal battles we lost today and certainly in the first half.
“Millwall had the possession but we still gifted them their three goals.
“We salvaged a bit of pride in the second half but we can’t accept what happened in the first 30 minutes today.
“We’ve had a tough run of games and we’ve competed well in most of them but today we came up short.”
