The views of the Cobblers boss ahead of Millwall v Northampton Town
Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh is hoping that his side can get a positive result at Millwall at The Den on Good Friday afternoon.
“It’s a difficult place to go but we are playing well and I believe we are capable of going there and getting a result,” he said.
“We’ve had some difficult games recently and although we perhaps haven’t got the results we would have wanted we have put in some good performances.
“We went toe-to-toe with the best team in this league and we can take a lot of credit from that.
“It’s a different type of test for us again at Millwall but we are playing well and I have belief in the players that we can go there and get a result.
“Millwall are the sort of side that we need to be looking at as to where we want to be next season.
“We’ve got the nucleus of a good squad here, it’s going to be a busy summer but if we recruit well it’s teams like Millwall and Southend that we need to be looking at as to where we want to be.”
