Cobblers boss Rob Page previews Wednesday night’s EFL Cup third round tie against Manchester United.
“Whatever team Jose Mourinho puts out will be full of quality but we’ve proven in this competition that on our day we are a match for anyone,” he said.
“It’s about us, how we approach the game and we want to give a good account of ourselves.
“We know we are in for a tough test and we are not going to underestimate them, all we can do is try and execute our game plan.
“They haven’t had the best of weeks but with the quality they have got in the team that can quickly change.
“This club has had an incredible 12 months and this is a fantastic tie.
“I’m pleased for the owners, the Chairman, the supporters and the players but we are not here just to make up the numbers.
“We are going to give it our best shot.”
