Jak McCourt is set to return to the Cobblers squad ahead of Saturday’s visit from Bristol Rovers.

McCourt missed the midweek game at Swindon with concussion.

“With concussions now there is a protocol you have to stick to and rightly so and that is what we are following,” said boss Rob Page.

“Jak did some unopposed work on Thursday and he will train fully on Friday.

“Alfie Potter has had a bit of a groin strain and was off for a couple of days ill but both Alfie and Jak will be available for the weekend.

“Raheem Hanley is coming on well and he should be back in full training next week. He came back after a thigh strain and picked up a hamstring injury.

“He’s had a frustrating start to his career here but with the extreme pace he has that is the situation and we know he is going to be a player. We saw glimpses against Wycombe in the cup and he’s got pace that will hurt clubs at this level.”
