All the team news ahead of Coventry City v Northampton Town

The Cobblers busy run of games continues on Tuesday night with a trip to Coventry City in the Checkatrade Trophy.

“We picked up three or four injuries on Saturday,” said assistant boss Paul Wilkinson.

“It was our fourth game in twelve days on Saturday and that does take it out of you so we have got one or two carrying niggles.

“We are in a tough run of games so I’m sure we will make some changes but saying that there are also players in the squad who need 90 minutes and this is a good opportunity for them.

“It’s important that we take the opportunity to give people game time and it’s a chance for the players who do come in to impress.

“In an ideal world we’d probably like to make more changes in order to give everybody a game but you have to respect the EFL’s wishes and respect the competition.”

One player who will miss the game is defender Gabriel Zakuani who is away on international duty with DR Congo.
