EFL Youth Alliance action
The Northampton Town under 18s welcomed Southend United to Moulton College on Saturday in the EFL Youth Alliance.
The Cobblers were beaten 6-1 with Professional Development Phase Coach Mark Lyons disappointed with his side’s performance, both individually and collectively.
“As individuals and as a team we were nowhere near the level we need to be at,” he said
“Every mistake we made we got punished but we just have to take this on the chin and move on quickly.”
Joe Iaciofano scored the Cobblers goal.
