Rob Page reflects on Northampton Town 2 Bristol Rovers 3
Cobblers boss Rob Page admitted to frustration as he reflected on Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Bristol Rovers.
“We are very disappointed and it was a frustrating afternoon,” he said.
“I didn’t think we were at our best today but again with the goals we conceded we didn’t make it hard for them.
“Credit to Bristol Rovers, I thought their substitutes made a real impact, but defensively we didn’t do our jobs today and if you switch off you get punished.
“We played okay at times but at 2-2 and not at our best we should have just seen the game out and taken a point.
“We learn from today, pick ourselves up and make sure we put it right next week.”
