Paul Wilkinson previews Coventry City v Northampton Town
Cobblers assistant Paul Wilkinson previews Tuesday night’s trip to Coventry in the EFL Trophy.
“It’s another competition but I don’t think you could ever say it’s a game we could do without,” he said.
“It’s another game we are looking forward to and as always it’s about us and what we do.
“I think when you look at any league table at the minute anybody is capable of beating anybody else and if you are that one or two per cent down you can get punished.
“We contributed to our own downfall a little bit on Saturday and we need to make sure that we get back to concentrating properly.
“A lack of concentration cost us but that’s something we have got to sharpen up on because if you switch off you get punished.
“We just need to concentrate on our own performance and make sure that we’re right.”
