Matt Taylor returns to the fold for Saturday’s home game against Bury after completing a three-match ban.

The Cobblers will however be without Alex Revell after the striker picked up his fifth yellow card of the season on Saturday.

“It will be great to have Matty back in contention,” said boss Rob Page.

“He’s been outstanding for us this season and he’ll certainly be pushing to start at the weekend.

“With Alex suspended, Rico will certainly be in contention. You know what you are going to get with Rico, he’s a goalscorer and a great professional.

“He’s had a difficult time with his injuries but everything is fine now, he’s the fittest he’s been and he’s got no issues whatsoever.

“Gabriel Zakuani had to come off on Saturday but he’s trained all week and everybody else is fighting fit.”
