WIN THE CHANCE TO BE A MASCOT AGAINST PETERBOROUGH UNITED!

2 November 2016

You can lead the teams out thanks to family area sponsor Mick George

The Cobblers will be welcoming local rivals Peterborough United to Sixfields later this month.

To celebrate the occasion, Mick George Ltd, the Family Area sponsor at Sixfields, are giving one lucky young Cobblers' supporter a once in a lifetime opportunity to be the mascot, and lead the team out onto the pitch ahead of the fixture against Peterborough United on Saturday 19th November.

The selected mascot will join the team on the pitch for a warm up and then lead the team out onto the pitch before kick-off. Other highlights will include meeting the players, having a tour of the changing rooms and collecting autographs and photographs.

The complimentary offer will also include one ticket for the mascot, as well as one adult ticket for a parent/guardian accompanying the mascot on the day.

All you have to do to enter the competition is nominate a child you think deserves to be the Northampton Town mascot and say why in the entry. Please submit entries before Thursday 10th November* at www.mickgeorge.co.uk/ntfcmascot.

Jon Stump, Finance Director of Mick George Ltd commented: "We have a foot in both camps for this fixture, due to our sponsorship partnerships with the two clubs. There is little to separate them in the league table, but pleasingly for everyone connected, both have started the season well and are sitting nicely, in and around the play-off positions. The recent match was a great occasion, with an equally impressive atmosphere created by the supporters, and no doubt the reverse contest will be the same.

"Throughout the season we will be engaging with Northampton Town fans in various ways to improve the match-day experience where ever possible. The mascot initiative is something we’ve done elsewhere and the response was very positive. We hope it will be the same this time around."
