PAIR HEAD OFF ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY AFTER THE WEEKEND

3 November 2016

Gorre and Zakuani called up by national squads

Two Northampton Town players will be heading off on international duty after this weekend's Emirates FA Cup tie with Harrow Borough.

Gabriel Zakuani will join up with the DR Congo squad for their World Cup qualifying game with Guinea, meaning he will miss the Checkatrade Trophy tie with West Ham United and the Sky Bet League 1 game at Gillingham, while Kenji Gorre will be on duty for Curacao next Wednesday in a friendly match against S.B.V. Excelsior in Rotterdam.

This game forms part of Curacao's preparations for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2017. Gorre will miss the West Ham game but return in time for the Gillingham fixture.

We wish both players every success while with their national squads.
