CHAIRMAN ATTENDS NTFC SUPPORTERS LTD OPEN FORUM

17 November 2016

Kelvin Thomas attends meeting at Sixfields on Thursday

As he approaches his first anniversary as Chairman of Northampton Town, Kelvin Thomas attended the latest Northampton Town Supporters Ltd Open Forum at Sixfields on Thursday.

The Chairman looked back on the last 12 months and answered questions from supporters.

Among the points discussed:

The Chairman is delighted with training ground partnership with Moulton College, and the club have made huge improvements in community work.

Season ticket sales are up 53%, attendances are up 35%, we have seen the highest ever Sixfields attendance record broken twice in the last year while young supporter season ticket sales are up 117%. We are seeing more shirts being worn in the town/community, while the Mick George family area is proving a big success.

Kelvin Thomas also confirmed we have seen a record number of away kit sales this year and we are on course for a record number of home kit sales as well.

As well as providing an update on the East Stand, the Chairman confirmed the club is now financially secure and sustainable and is on target to make a profit after heavy losses in the previous 2 years.

The Chairman also reserved generous praise for the staff and volunteers for their hard work in turning things around, confirming 'This club is in decent shape.'
