Already more than 800 ahead of last year, with a few days left until the deadline

After a Super Saturday of season ticket sales at Sixfields and at the end of a very busy week, Northampton Town have smashed through the 3,000 season tickets sold barrier.
With just under 2,200 tickets sold by the end of the discount period last year the Cobblers are set for a significant increase - all with almost a month before the fixtures are even announced!
"We are delighted at the level of season ticket sales so far, particularly this week," said Chairman Kelvin Thomas.
"We thought the league title, promotion and the decision to freeze prices would mean season tickets would be popular, but the figures we have achieved so far have certainly surpassed our expectations.
"There is a huge buzz around at the moment, the trophy tour with Clarence this week has shown that and there is real excitement around the club and in the community. The whole community feels connected to the club and that has generated a fantastic feel good factor."
The season ticket discount deadline passes in a few days, on Tuesday May 31st, after which time prices in all stands will rise, and the club expect demand to remain high until that deadline is passed.
Over the Bank Holiday weekend season tickets remain on sale from, while callers to Sixfields on Tuesday May 31st (10am to 7pm) should please visit the main ticket office to purchase season tickets and merchandise. Telephone purchase/assistance is available from 10am to 7pm on Tuesday on 01604 683777.

That's right, we are staying open until 7pm on Tuesday and what's more, we will have the Sky Bet League 2 trophy in reception for you to come and have your photo taken with from 5pm to 7pm!
Until the end of Tuesday, an adult season ticket is available in the North Stand for just under £11 per game ahead, while East and West Stand season tickets are also heavily discounted. Under 7s are free, with under 12s just over £2 per game.
Season ticket holders will again have priority over non season ticket holders for cup and away matches, and supporters can once again pay for their season ticket in instalments via Zebra Finance.
