Chairman confirms talks with a number of candidates
Chairman Kelvin Thomas has said that the search for the next Northampton Town manager is already well under way.
“In reality we’ve started our search and I’ve already met with four managers,” he said in a Cobblers PlayerHD interview.
“We had to be prepared and Chris understood that even before he left we had to start making some initial contact.
“We’ve had a lot of interest already, we are not going to rush it but we want to get a quick resolution.
“We don’t have to spend days and days talking about things, we will probably meet around seven or eight managers during the process and then we will select from there.
“It’s an important appointment and it’s one that we will discuss at length over the coming days but we are not going to spend weeks and weeks talking about it.”
