Rob Page on what he demands from his players

New manager Rob Page has been talking about what the Cobblers supporters can expect to see from his Northampton Town team next season.

“I think the supporters will see a passionate man on the sideline,” he said.

“I’ve taken that from my playing days and the least I expect from my players is one hundred per cent effort.

“Sometimes you have an off day but if you’ve given it your all then I will accept that.

“I like my team to be well organised and disciplined but it’s an attack minded game and I like to see entertaining football that will get the crowd off their seats.

“Chris Wilder did an absolutely fantastic job here and it’s about building on that now.

“League One is a step up but I think we’ve got a good group of players here already and if we can add to that as well then I think we are capable of more than competing next season.

“We’ve seen what promoted teams have done in the past and we are going to give it our best shot.”
