CHRIS WILDER - 'FRATTON PARK TRIP SHOULD BE A GREAT OCCASION'

5 May 2016

The Cobblers boss on Portsmouth v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is looking forward to the final game of the season at Portsmouth.

“It’s going to be a great occasion and we want to play well,” he said.

“It’s been a wonderful season in the history of this football club and we want to finish it like we started it.

“To go into the final game in the position that we are in is unbelievable and we want to reward our away support with one last final push.

“We enjoy winning and we want to finish on a high.

“There is no easing off from us and I think that just epitomises the focus and the character that we have.

“I’ve got a lot of respect for Paul and I wish Portsmouth well. They have certainly got the ability to roll through these play-offs games and I’m sure they will give it a right good go.

“They have still got a bit of work to do but so have we and there are still three more points up for grabs.”
