The Cobblers boss on Northampton Town v Cambridge United

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder says there will be no change in the outlook of his squad as they prepare for Saturday’s home game vs Cambridge United.

“It probably sounds boring but we are just getting our heads down and it’s onto the next challenge,” he said.

“I was delighted with the players at Carlisle last Saturday and I could really see the focus and determination in their eyes.

“They were really at it and they were determined to go and win that game.

“It was a big day for us and this Saturday is no different. We want to push for another three points and we keep rolling on.

“Cambridge deserved to beat us earlier in the season and they recruited strongly last summer.

“They are very much pushing to get into the top seven so we know we are in for another tough game.”
