POTTER PLAYS 60 MINUTES AS RESERVES WIN AT BARNET

15 March 2016

Midweek run out for some of the squad members

Northampton Town’s reserves travelled to Barnet on Tuesday afternoon for a behind closed doors friendly.

Alfie Potter came through 60 minutes in a game the Cobblers won 4-2, Nicky Adams, Lawson D’Ath, Sam Hoskins and youth team player Matty Forster with the goals.

“It was a really good game for us and the players showed a great attitude,” said assistant boss Alan Knill.

“Alfie came through 60 minutes fine and it was a good opportunity for us to get minutes into some of the other players as well.

“It was a good game and overall we were really pleased with the efforts of the players."

In addition to Potter, Adams, D'Ath and Hoskins, Ryan Clarke, Josh Lelan, Ryan Cresswell, Rod McDonald and Jason Taylor all featured.
