Cobblers boss Chris Wilder praised the determination of his players as he reflected on Friday’s 1-0 win over Newport County.“It’s a massive three points,” he said.
“We weren’t at our best today and the players are a bit disappointed but they are winning footballers. I have said to them we have nothing to be disappointed about, we are in a fantastic situation.
“We don’t want to sweep the performance under the carpet and we will have a look at it but all that matters is we’ve won another game of football.
“We’ve got 85 points with 8 games to go and it’s an unbelievable situation that we are in.”
