The Cobblers boss on the influence of the loan striker
Chris Wilder says that on-loan striker John Marquis can be pleased with the impact he has made at Sixfields.
"John has done really well and his endeavour and work ethic doesn’t let up," he said.
“He can be really pleased with his contribution, he’s a determined character and his performances and goals have been excellent.
“It’s only really the form of Lee Gregory and Steve Morison that has been keeping him out of the side at Millwall but he wanted to come out and play some football and he is certainly doing himself no harm.
“We take a short, medium and long term view of everything, John at the moment is making us better and we will see where we are come the end of the season.
“There is no rush to getting anything over the line with John but it’s definitely something we are looking at.”
