Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division action
Northampton Town’s youth team took on Peterborough United at Moulton College on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division.
The Cobblers won the game 3-0, Joe Iaciofano scoring a hat-trick.
“It was an excellent hard working performance,” said Lead Foundation Coach Mark Lyons.
“We continued where we left off a couple of weeks ago and Joe’s hat-trick put the finishing touches on a good performance.
“We finished with quite a young team and it’s good to see some of the younger players coming through as well.”
