Northampton Town are delighted to announce details of 2016/17 season ticket packages, with prices frozen, whatever division the club are playing in, if season tickets are purchased on or before 31 May 2016.

This means season ticket holders who purchase before the end of May will pay the same price they were paying for League 2 football five years ago. The club pledge not to increase the prices stated if we are promoted to League 1.

An adult season ticket is available in the North Stand for just under £11 per game ahead of the May 31 discount deadline, while season ticket holders will again have priority over non season ticket holders for cup and away matches.

The discount period has been pushed back to the end of May while supporters can once again pay for their season ticket in instalments via Zebra Finance.

2016/17 season ticket holders purchasing before May 31 will make even more of a saving than in previous years, with season tickets purchased after May 31 subject to a small increase on 2015/16 levels.

"We have enjoyed a fantastic season and the levels of interest and excitement in the club are extremely high," said Chairman Kelvin Thomas.

"Since we arrived at the club in late November, we have been delighted with the levels of support and the loyalty and passion shown by supporters. We are keen to reward that loyalty, so we are delighted to offer supporters who buy a season ticket before the end of May the chance to (hopefully!) watch League 1 football at the same prices they were paying for League 2 football.

"We are not sure that there have been many examples of teams moving up a division (hopefully) and freezing season ticket prices, but this club has enjoyed a special season and there has been a special connection created between supporters and players and we wanted to build on that.

"While price is clearly important, we shared the pain of those supporters who were unable to get tickets for some games this season because we were sold out, but by buying a season ticket they remove any such worries and with some big games certain to be on the schedule in 2016/17, that could be a very shrewd move."

Proof of disability and birth certificates or passport ID is required for all applying for concessions, including under 7s.

Season tickets are now on sale from Sixfields and via www.ntfcdirect.co.uk

Emails and letters are being sent out this week to current season ticket holders, while information can be downloaded here.
