Cobblers boss planning best possible preparation ahead of new season
Manager Rob Page is looking forward to the start of pre-season, which is now just over three weeks away.
“We’ve got some great fixtures lined up and we are just finalising a training camp as well so we are looking forward to taking the boys away to train for a few days," he said.
“It comes round quickly but it’s important that when the players come back in on July 1st all the preparation work has been done.
“I’ve already had a good conversation with Marc Richards and I’m currently working my way through speaking to the rest of the squad.
“Marc was very positive about the club and as we’ve spoken about before it’s important we build on that momentum.
“I’m looking forward to working with the group of players that are here and I can’t wait to get started.”
