Cobblers boss willing to bide his time
Cobblers boss Rob Page is being patient as he negotiates with some of his summer transfer targets, and has said he will wait to bring in the right players rather than rush to make signings.
“We don’t want to bring anybody in for the sake of it," he said.
“This football club has just had a fantastic season and we want to make sure that we bring in the right type of players who not only fit the bill from a character point of view but are going to benefit this team as well.
“There will be signings made but we have got to be a little bit patient at the minute, that's all part of the recruitment process."
