Manager Rob Page looking forward to working with new defender
Manager Rob Page is sure that new addition Aaron Phillips will prove a good signing and says the end of the ability to make short term loans means he is looking to add strength and depth to the squad.
Phillips, who will officially become a Cobbler from July 1st, became the club's first new recruit of the summer last week and Page is looking forward to working with him.
“Aaron is a young hungry player and he’s very much looking forward to the challenge here," said the Cobblers boss.
“We want to bring players in who have got that hunger and desire to succeed and he certainly ticks those boxes.
“With the loan system changing next season it’s very important that we have that strength in depth and Aaron gives us that.
“He comes with some good League One experience having played quite a few games for Coventry and I’m looking forward to working with him."
