New goalkeeping coach on arriving at Sixfields
Paddy Kenny has said the opportunity to become the goalkeeping coach was one he couldn't turn down.
"As soon as I spoke to Rob I knew this was an opportunity I wanted to pursue and I am delighted to be here," he said.
"We played together, we have kept in touch since and we know how each other works.
"Coaching is something I have always wanted to do. As I have got older I have played less and have had more of an input to the younger keepers and so coaching seems the natural step for me.
"I am here as a coach but I am registered as a player only as a last resort, should I be required with the loan rules changing."
