Kelvin Thomas delighted that the players have a base with excellent facilities

Chairman Kelvin Thomas says he is delighted with the club's training ground partnership with Moulton College.

"I have always liked the facility at Moulton,” he said.

“It is an impressive place and there have been issues around the playing surfaces, but this partnership will resolve those. It is a really good solution for us at the moment, the facilities are first class and we have access to some fantastic rehab and fitness equipment.

"We can help prepare the pitches, Paul Knowles will go there and help out and we will keep looking longer term, but Rob Page is very excited to be going there as our training ground.

"The training ground is important, the players will be based up there and that will be where there day to day work is done. Rob and his team are itching to get the players in and get them working.

"We probably won't have every player in the squad in for the start of pre-season, we never expected that, some of our targets may be involved in pre-season elsewhere, and we will wait on one or two but we are comfortable about that and very happy with where we are.”
