Cobblers boss on defeat at Brackley
Cobblers boss Rob Page reflecting on Saturday’s pre-season game at Brackley Town.
“Saturday certainly opened my eyes to a few things,” he said.
“I am still learning about the players but the way in which we conceded the goals at Brackley was disappointing.
“Saturday was a big learning curve and I learnt more in the 90 minutes there than I have done since I’ve been here.
“I am learning about the players every day, we know it’s pre-season and we are still building up the minutes for the players but we need to cut out the basic errors.
“On a positive note I thought Marc Richards and Alex Revell worked well together up front, we have got other options as well but with those two we know we are going to get goals.”
